After 5 hours of putting this thing together it didn't work. I plugged it in, got on and tried to move the pedals. The sound the machine made was like metal scraping metal. I spent another hour on the phone with customer service for Proform and was told it sounded as if the machine needs new bearings??? Who forgot to pack the bearing with oil when putting the machine together? I am waiting for parts to be shipped to my home and then a technician to come and install the parts. If this resolves the problem i still won't feel very good about the machine. What if something else fails. You can't return this item either. If you're looking into buying one of these machines you might want to pass on this one. I will update after the repair is made. I would feel a little better if a partial refund was offered, something.
